Essential November 2025 Tax Date Reminders

November 10 - Reporting Tips to Employers

Employees who earn tips must report any amount exceeding $20 received in October 2025 to their employers by November 10 using IRS Form 4070. Employers are then required to withhold FICA and income taxes from these amounts. Should your regular wages not suffice to cover these withholdings, the uncollected amount will be reflected in Box 8 of your W-2 form, necessitating payment when filing your annual return.

Should a deadline coincide with a Saturday, Sunday, or legal holiday, the due date automatically shifts to the subsequent business day.
