Key December 2025 Business Tax Deadlines

As December approaches, it's critical for business owners to be aware of crucial tax deadlines, including corporate estimated tax payments and monthly payroll tax obligations. Don't forget to complete any necessary year-end tasks well before many offices close on December 31.

December 15 - Corporate Estimated Taxes

Your corporation's fourth quarter estimated tax payment for the 2025 calendar year is due by this date. Mark your calendar to ensure timely compliance.

December 15 - Social Security, Medicare, and Income Tax

If the monthly deposit rules apply to your business, remember that December 15 is the deadline for depositing Social Security, Medicare, and withholding taxes for November 2025. This includes nonpayroll withholding deposits if applicable.

December 31 - Last Day to Finalize Year-End Actions

If certain actions can't be executed in one day, initiate them well before December 31 as some financial institutions may not operate on New Year's Eve.

Weekends & Holidays: If any deadline falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or legal holiday, the due date is extended to the next business day that isn't a holiday.
